Superbowl Sunday

Superbowl Sunday is almost upon us and even though my beloved N. E. Patriots are not in it (for once lol), I still love watching the game.

So why don’t we have a bit of fun while watching with a Superbowl Stitch Along. I saw this idea online and thought it was cool. I tweaked the pattern a bit so that I wasn’t copying exactly off the net.

Here’s the pattern, written in US terms and you can use whatever colours you wish. If you would like me to post your pictures of your finished project on Monday just email me the photos at

Crocheting the days away

Hiya everyone,

Sorry I haven’t been around much but creating this BRAND NEW CAL is literally taking up all my time. Plus on top of that I’ve been recuperating from a medical procedure and getting ready for an operation, so things have been hectic to say the least.

Unfortunately since I’m doing my best to get this CAL done in time for the launch, I haven’t had any time to start the Granny Square a Month CAL. So I think it’s best I scrap that one until I get this one done and dusted.BUT I do have some exciting news, I am giving all of you a sneak peak of the CAL that I’m currently working on. 😉😉Sooo with out further ado here’s the sneak peak.

This CAL will have some beginner stitches and some intermediate stitches. As you can see one of those stitches is the Tulip Stitch because what is a spring CAL without flowers. So I hope you all are getting as excited as I am about this upcoming CAL.Talk to you all soon

Love and Hugs,

Kym

Breaking News

Awww springtime cannot come too quickly. I love the beautiful colours of the blooming flowers and the butterfly’s flitting about.

So on that thought I have started working on a blanket that will incorporate colourful springtime colours AND butterfly’s which will be my second free CAL, which I have named “Blooms and Butterfly’s Spring CAL”©

This CAL will start in the middle of March, so no rushing about and I will keep you all updated from now and then. But I wanted to give you all a heads up if you want to join in. It will be a 20 week CAL with the optional border during week 21.

Two weeks after week 21 you will be able to purchase the CAL in my Ravelry store.

I am working with Stylecraft Special Dk (my personal favorite wool) and strongly advise ypu to use it,for its absolutely gorgeous colour palate, but of course you can use whatever Dk you wish. You buy Stylecraft Special Dk here.

I get no compensation for adventure rising these sites I just believe they are the best with with best customer service in the UK and won’t shop elsewhere.

Well another lazy Sunday of bingo and crochet. Been a busy week as I have started a NEW group for Graphaholics like me or those who would like to learn.

We have learning units with practice projects and you even earn rewards for completing units.

I am also going to be doing free graphs, although those who would like a word count with the graph will have a cost of £5.

I do have some graphs with word counts for free in the files section.

So if you love graphgans or would like to learn why not join us.

Happy New Year

Hooking For Happiness Charity Drive

I would like to start the New year off right. Let’s all get together and see how many preemie blankets and hats we can knit or crochet this year to our local hospitals or charities. All you have to do is post pictures of your finished projects at the end of each month,I will post an album for each month. The person who donates the most at the end of the year will get a mystery gift valued at approx £45 ,so let’s get those hooks and needles flying for little ones that need the most. I will post patterns in the files section shortly or you can use your own. In order to join in this charity drive just apply to be a member of my Facebook group,https://m.facebook.com/groups/733306800338767/?ref=group_browse

It only takes an hour or two to give some much needed comfort for these little miracles.

Halfway Through The Holidays

Hi everyone,

I trust that all had a wonderful Christmas and Boxing Day.

Mine was great just me and Matt watching Christmas movies and eating a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings.

I’ve decided that one of my projects for 2020 will be a Granny Square A Month CAL designed by me and as a bonus December I will post a custom border.

The basic details are that the squares will be posted in here for two weeks from when I first post it,after that you can purchase the pattern

And after the custom border has expired on here you will have the option to purchase the complete CAL

I’m sooo excited as this is my first CAL ever! I hope everyone has fun and be sure to sign up for updates and such so you don’t miss a thing.

And now I’m off to play with wool and colours.
